Sufficient to obtain necessary nutrition
Replace processed foods with natural whole foods full of fibre and nutrients. Pile up on fruits, vegtables, whole grains and leabn meat.
Avoid high calorie and high fat food, like fried foods, white starches, fast food and dessert
Watch portion size, especially when eating out.
Stay hydrated (recommend water intake for adults is 2-3 litres a day
Read nutrition ladels of food before you buy it so you know what you are eating.

Drink moderately, and avoid binge drinking (four drinks in secession for a woman and five for a man).
