Methylated Spirits (mineralised) is pure ethanol prepared for industrial use by mixing with a small quantity of methanol (11% max.) to make it unfit for consumption. For safety purposes, it is dyed purple.

Uses

Pharmacy Brand Methylated Spirits is suitable for use as:

1. A good general purpose cleaner, especially for glassware, windows and electronics
2. A solvent for spirit based varnishes, paints and polishes
3. A fuel for camping stoves and spirit burners

Available in 100 ml and 500 ml bottles with tamper evident child resistant lid. Also available in a gallon (4.55 litre) container.
